The UniFlex Easy Clean flexible screw conveyor has been redesigned for even faster disassembly and cleaning. The conveyor is now equipped with two rest stops, for both the working and cleaning positions. Incorporated in these rests are pinning mechanisms to keep the auger assembly securely in position. An interlock switch, mounted near the hopper, protects operators by automatically shutting down the auger when it is moved out of the working position. A hinged cover allows easy access to the removable pin holding the auger weldment captive in the coupling for quick auger removal. Quick-disconnect tri-clover clamps expedite removal of the casing. An improved portable tubular frame permits a higher discharge elevation. A redesign of the conical hopper boosts capacity without increasing infeed elevation.
